GC Therapy carries in its name not only the initials of my name Ginette Cheung, but also a deeper meaning of ‘Genuine Connection’. As a psychologist, I build rapport with my clients by engaging in active and genuine listening during the counselling sessions. This is the way in which I garner insights into one’s inner world and form a genuine connection with my clients.  An important objective in my counselling process is to lead my clients through a journey of connectedness with their inner self. This genuine connection is the key to self-revelation, which is critical for the resolution of internal conflicts. I work with my clients closely together to overcome emotional and psychological obstacles through genuine connection.
